Once again we're back in Southern California - this time
for a tour of its main dealerships; and as one would expect
here, the emphasis in these sections is upon new and
late model used vehicles. Most makes seem to be covered,
from sedans and dayvans, to the latest sport coupes and
muscle trucks.
Classic and custom cars soon appear as the crew look in
on "Vintage Auto Sales" a Museum where everything is up
for grabs. Here you will enjoy discovering a 34 Ford |Sedan,
57 Bell-air, several Mustangs including a 64 ˝, 67 GT 500,
a 429 Boss - and many more immaculate examples.
There are also visits to a Corvette dealer who shows us
around his vast showroom collection - everything from a
56 at $49,000 up to the latest 97 C5 - a mere snip at $42,000.
A return visit to this dealership reveals what was
historically Corvette's most aggressive competitor
posing on the forecourt: the 33rd '62 Cobra built, complete
with original 289ci Le mans motor. (All yours for $107,000).
Later we visit 'Prestige Thunderbird' a specialist company
who strip and rebuild only ''55-57 T Birds.
Whilst the title does contain numerous contacts coupled
with some very interesting footage, it serves predominantly
as good reference for those considering purchasing late
models from a main dealer, or top class show prepared
classics. So if you are looking to spend upwards of Ł15000
and don't fancy trundling through small ads - this is the one
for you.

BUYING A YANK VIDEOS
Most people have at one time or another thought about
bringing a car into the country. But it can be a daunting
task, you may well have heard horror stories about tax
on your purchases, the paper work needed, the customs
problems, when the car gets back here. What these two
videos do is take a lot of the worry away from finding
and buying a Yank to bring back to Blighty.
